This holiday season don't miss the surprisingly popular Lantern Festival. From the luminescent lights of the Light Tunnel and Chinese Lights to the Sea World and Animal Kingdom life-size installations, you will get a holiday experience almost like no other.
You will meet your guide in Lower Manhattan to board the Staten Island Ferry. Snap some photos of the illuminated New York City Skyline and Statue of Liberty as we pass it on the boat ride. Your guide will narrate along the way.
Once we reach Staten Island, you will pass by Empire Outlets where you can shop and dine, if you choose. We will direct you to bus that takes you to the festival in a short 10 minute ride. At the Lantern Festival, enjoy a live lion dance and other traditional Chinese performances and gaze at the enormous LED installations. Browse the gift shop or grab a bite to eat at the food court, which offers a variety of snacks.
You can return by bus to Empire Outlets and then by Ferry back to Manhattan.
